What is MEGA Server?

MEGA is a free, community-run Minecraft server that's been online for years. It runs Survival and full Creative worlds, supports Java & Bedrock crossplay, and the map has never been wiped.

How do I join? What's the IP?

The server address is play.the-mega-server.net. Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server, paste the IP, and join. On Bedrock use the same address with port 19132.

Is MEGA Server free? Is it pay-to-win?

It's 100% free to join — no whitelist, no sign-up — and there's no pay-to-win. There are no ranks for sale and nothing that affects gameplay is ever sold. You can't buy your way ahead here; everyone's on equal footing.

Are there ranks? How do I become a builder?

Just two: everyone joins as a member with full access to play and build. You earn builder over time by being a trusted, regular part of the community — it's given by trust, never sold.

Does the world ever reset or get wiped?

No — there are no server wipes. The world has never reset and never will, so the builds you make today will still be standing years from now. That's our whole promise.

Can I play on Bedrock, mobile, or console?

Yes. Thanks to Geyser crossplay, Java and Bedrock players share the same worlds. Phone, tablet, console or PC — everyone plays together.

Is there full Creative mode with WorldEdit?

Yes — a full Creative world with WorldEdit, unlimited blocks and instant flight, giving you complete creative control. Like the rest of the server, it's permanent and never wiped.

What versions and game modes are supported?

Current Minecraft Java & Bedrock versions are supported. Game modes include the legacy MEGA world, classic Survival, and Creative — hop between all three with the same account, builds and friends.

Is MEGA a good Minecraft server for builders?

Yes — it's built for builders. The world never resets, so anything you make is permanent. There's a full Creative world with WorldEdit for big projects, plus Survival if you'd rather gather everything yourself. With no pay-to-win, nobody can buy their way past what you've built.
